Bill Crank, Chief Executive Officer
Bill brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and high-tech industries to his role as CEO of Blue Diamond Solutions. As CEO of Blue Diamond he will focus on driving profitable growth both organically and inorganically, adjacent market strategies, operations, and execution of the corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Blue Diamond Bill has been in executive management roles in a number of cutting edge technology companies that have provided solutions for many of the largest wireless, wireline, cable, enterprise companies on a global basis. The solution base has encompassed products and services in software, optical, wireless, application development, convergence, and system integration. As Vice President of Sales for Ubiquity Software he provided that sales leadership and partner strategy to help the company to an IPO on the London AIM in May of 2005, and eventual $150 Million acquisition by Avaya in February of 2007. After Ubiquity Bill was asked to be President of NCI where he drove a significant strategy change to broaden the platform, partners, and customer base that led to the eventual acquisition by Broadview Networks in July of 2009. He has also held executive management roles as President and CEO of Wireless Systems Consulting (acquired by Berliner Communications, BERL.OB, Nasdaq), Executive Vice President of CI Wireless (acquired by EMS Wireless, ELMG, Nasdaq), Vice President Sales & BD of Ortel (acquired by Lucent, LU – NYSE), and senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Allen Telecom and Motorola where he started his career.
Bill will continue to sit on the Board of Blue Diamond where he has had a seat since 2007. He continues to sit on the Corporate Advisory Board of Directors for a number of companies and historically has provided executive management consulting to companies within the circle of VC’s that have funded past companies with his involvement.
Patrick Carlile, Executive Vice President of Sales
Patrick Carlile is the Executive Vice President of Sales at Blue Diamond Solutions. Patrick’s vision in his role as Executive Vice President of Sales is to lead Blue Diamond in industry involvement, brand management, sales, and business development.
Prior to Blue Diamond, Carlile, along with his business partner Dan Fasano, established All Business Solutions (ABS), a thriving full-service network and computer solutions integrator, providing custom voice, data and hardware setups for nearly every type of business. His unrenowned reputation in the Telecom and IT industry has allowed for crucial expansion and delivery of unique cost savings to all businesses by planning, building and optimizing network application-based services and solutions. Throughout his tenure at the company, Carlile has held a series of increasingly responsible senior management positions, including serving as President and Executive Vice President of Sales Carlile has successfully built out sales teams, overseen back office infrastructure and operations, and managed successful projects overseeing $40 million in Telecom and IT revenue.
Previously, Carlile worked as a Senior Executive of Sales at Sprint, a position he had held since 1998. In this role, he handled small to medium sized accounts where he managed over twenty five people with the responsibility of over $15 million in annual revenue. Each and every year he excessed his annual revenue number to earn him the top sales in his department.
Carlile holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University.
Dan Fasano, Chief Financial Officer
Dan Fasano is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer at Blue Diamond Solutions. As CFO of Blue Diamond, Fasano is responsible for the company’s financials, investor relations, and mergers and plays a key role in developing the company’s business strategy.
Prior to co-founding Blue Diamond Solutions, Fasano began his career as proprietor of Enviro-Safety, Inc. Soon after, Fasano joined the then Bell Atlantic as a Senior Account Executive for three years. Here he subsequently began to fuel his desire for more face time with customers resulting in his move to Sprint where he found success as a Sales Account Executive. Fasano rose steadily through the telecom industry’s professional ranks after holding various sales positions at XO Communications and Telergy Mid-Atlantic. In July of 2000, Fasano and his business partner Patrick Carlile put their business plan in motion and established All Business Solutions (ABS), a leader in telecommunications consulting based in New Jersey. As President of All Business Solutions, Fasano focuses on creating innovative, strategic and cost-effective service with unmatched reliability for small and medium sized businesses.
Fasano holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Saint Peter’s College.
